View of the finished boiler sitting in my garage leaning against the wall. It is very heavy and took three people to unload it. It is 50" tall or about the same height as the hand truck next to it. When installed on the locomotive, it will be in a horizontal position with what is now the "top" being the front, where the smokestack is. The "bottom" is actually the back, where the cab will be. The square opening is the boiler bottom and is the firebox. Plenty of room for a lot of coal! 18-Jul-2002
