25-Mar-2012 The big engine fills the opening as the lifting stand is prepared. Hitting the "Up" button, the engine gets a foot off the floor before the elevator reports a load "Bang" and the slack in the chains start to pick the sprockets, threatening to jump off. We stop the lift and bring the engine back down. The force of the lift has caused the chains to shift the position of the posts, introducing excessive slack and problems. A better way of tensioning the chains is required.
